Normally email will be sent via U3AWeb and the sender must log in to the Monks Brook u3a website to do this.

Where abuse or neglect is suspected Monks Brook u3a will aim to respond to the situation in a way which is caring, effective and enabling. Monks Brook u3a also recognises that abuse and neglect can be perpetrated by volunteers, other users of services, relatives, friends and neighbours. Monks Brook acknowledges that the reasons for abuse and neglect occurring may not be fully understood and vary with each incident, often dependent on risk factors.
Monks Brook u3a will neither condone nor tolerate any form of abuse or neglect and believes that all people should be able, and where necessary enabled, to live in an environment which is safe.

Each u3a is required to set down its financial policies and procedures. This document defines the processes that Monks Brook U3A will use for its financial matters. The policy will be kept under review and revised as necessary. A copy of this document will be given to all Trustees on their election/appointment to the Committee.
This policy is part of the governance arrangements. It sets out the financial framework and principles within which the Trustees of Monks Brook U3A will manage all the organisation’s financial affairs. The Trustees are accountable to the Membership for any non-compliance with this policy.
